Our village is ideally situated to explore the North West of England, just 5 minutes to the major motorway network, with three National parks (Yorkshire Dales 30 minutes, Lake district 60 minutes, Peak district 60 minutes) close by. We're just 10 minutes drive from the hidden splendour of the Ribble Valley and are situated within the rural peace, quiet and tranquillity of the West Pennine Moors.

Excellant walking within the area and further afield within the National Parks.

For those that prefer shopping, towns, theatres, concerts and the buzz of towns and cities then there's plenty to choose from just a short ride away.

Want to dine out then there's a vast range of fine dining, village pubs with great selections of tradition food and real ale, to the hot and spicy Indian cusine.

The North West has it all and yet is a relatively undiscovered part of England, unspoilt by crowds and mass tourism. Come and see the real England.
