Had a week in a lovely big home on the outskirts, complete with car and cute little dog who would sit at door when he wanted to go out and knock on the door to come back in. Neighbourhood was awesome and within easy walking distance of a Starbucks complete with the sophistication of a clover machine.
San Antonio has quite a few sites to offer including the Alamo, which is right in the middle of the town and well worth a visit. The river walk is lovely and there are some great Spanish Missions dotted around the town. Town itself is not that impressive and driving on the freeways is a nightmare, every car seems to be driven by a psychotic with a either a death wish or hopes of rampantly ramming you up your exhaust pipe.
