Spent two weeks in Gaynor and Rudi's place in the suburbs of Melbourne, complete with car. Home was lovelly split level house, everything you could need, including wifi of course, and handy for the bus and train into Melbourne rather than car. Shower was ginormous, both an his and hers shower head. Coincidently our paths crossed with Gaynor and Rudi in Hong Kong as they came home from ur place and we were on our way home. Met up for a snake dinner, great to meet them.
Melbourne was a delightfull city. Plenty to see and do. Such a compact square, with lanes to explore, you could miander around for hours. The whole of Aus seems to be more English than England, more like England was in the 1960's. Also used it as a base to explore this area of Aus and the Great Ocean road. Met up with Simon and Haley who were working out there and had a great day out followed by watching the little penguins dash ashore at sunset. What an awesome site.
