Stayed for two weeks in a lovely home here complete with car. Home and neighbourhood were awesome. Surrounded by civil war battle fields so plenty to see and do. Marietta is a quaint little town complete with lovely town square, with fountain and surrounded by cafes. Weather was hot and humid.
Saw plenty of the civil war battle fields and demonstration cannon firing. What a gruesome war that was.
Atlanta had plenty to offer especially the Aquarium where I had the best dive ever with whale sharks and manta rays. Expensive but well worth every cent. Enjoyed the Coca-Cola and CNN tour. The Olympic park area is very peaceful but trying to find and gain entry to the Civil Rights Museum was a disaster. After so many stopovers in Atlanta airport over the years it was great to finally see the city.
