We had a month on the out skirts in a spacious bungalow along with car and bikes.
Home was lovely and with great views. Giant Windows looking out onto the garden had evidence of birds flying in committing suicide by trying to head bang it at speed. Scared the living daylights out of us. Some days we had an awesome hawk come and sit on the tree and consume his breakfast.
Albuquerque is a great city loads of cycle paths and we could ride all the way downtown, even to the Apple Store, on the bikes provided. The old town was great and there are some awesome birding sites. Had a few side trips, best one being to a balloon festival in Taos . Sadly we missed the Albuquerque balloon festival.
Lots to see and do in the surrounding areas and of course we had to do the Breaking Bad Tour not the official one it was a tad expensive we did our own DIY tour from Google maps. Each day we did something different we visited Santa Fa lovely little town and easy to walk around.
Took an early morning balloon ride, cold but well worth it.
